Employability

We’re passionate about building a better future for people in the communities in which we live and work.
Our people lead this commitment. They offer mentoring, training and upskilling at local schools, universities and for colleagues around the world — guiding and inspiring the next generation of industry professionals.
2024 highlights
Inspiring young professionals
We visited more than 60 schools and universities across the world. We reached over 50,000 young people and encouraged them to consider a career in construction.
Dress for success
Together with our fellow Sidara collaborative companies, we supported Dress for Success, a charity with the aim to help unemployed and underemployed women achieve economic independence. The employability career day in London helped participants through discussions on the importance of soft skills and career development.
Loyola Marymount University
Our US team took part in the Loyola Marymount University annual capstone (final assignment) project in Los Angeles. They collaborated with five talented LMU graduate students on a challenging data-related question. The six-week project is part of LMU’s Master of Science in Business Analytics, designed to connect technical knowledge with real-world challenges.
The 5% club
Our UK business was named a platinum member of the 5% club, a movement of employers working to create shared prosperity across the UK by driving ‘earn and learn’ skills training opportunities. We also won Best Large Organisation in the ‘breadth’ category at their annual awards. 21% of our UK team is made up of graduates and apprentices. These accolades recognise our commitment to building a skilled and sustainable workforce.
