Wellbeing

We care about our people’s wellbeing inside and outside of work. We offer programmes that promote healthy living such as our annual Currie & Brown Global Health & Wellbeing Week, giving people the chance to have fun with colleagues while focusing on our mental and physical health.

2023 highlights

Our goal for 2023 Global Health & Wellbeing Week was to explore our physical, relaxation, fitness, nutritional, and mental wellbeing. We took part in a range of activities, from a steps challenge totalling over 1.2 million steps globally, to connecting with nature, and taking part in yoga both at work and at home.

For the second year in a row our focus on workforce wellbeing has been recognised by Cigna Healthcareˢᵐ. We achieved a Silver level Cigna Healthy Workforce in 2023.

In the UK and Australia, our people took time to check in with one another in support of mental health:

Our Southampton colleagues enjoyed a shared lunch in support of Time To Talk Day in February.

In Australia, we participated in R U Okay Day. Our people learned how to support others, asking, “Are you OK?” when someone might be struggling.

Providing healthcare to underserved communities

In the US, we partnered with our fellow Sidara collaborative company, Perkins&Will, to provide a cost estimate for the fit-out of a new 1,500ft² dental clinic for the San Fernando Valley Community Health Center (SFCHC). SFCHC is a non-profit healthcare organisation providing medical, dental, behavioural health, and education services to underserved communities with limited healthcare access. Currie & Brown provided 50 hours of pro bono services to the project.
